Things, Stuff & Such

Alright, I stink at this. I have not posted in… well, you can see when.

The boys went back to their mother’s last week. It is always sad when I have to send them home, but it seems more so when they are here for the summer. We had such a great time this summer. Just having them around makes me happy.

The first moring they were here I got up early enough to make them breakfast before I had to go to work. That was the only morning before work that happed though – ’cause we usually stayed up late at night. Fortunately I only had to work six out of the twenty three days they were here.

This was the first time I let them stay home by themselves (I was a bit nervous going to work the first few days), so I set up a streaming webcam to keep an eye on them. They were only alone for a few hours a day, so it wasn’t too bad. The biggest issue turned out to be Aaron getting bored easily. Scott was fine playing the Xbox or on the computer, but Aaron needs room to run free. I tried to keep them busy when I got home – we went to the pool just about every day (sometimes twice a day).
